Adding nice menus

Nice menus is a module which let’s you have expandable drop-down menus. All you have to do is create your own menu structure. If you want to customise the look and feel you can override some CSS. Please note that in this tutorial I am using the 6.x-2.x-dev release because it’s most up to date version.

Installing this module is straight forward just go to Administer >> Site building >> Modules and enable the module.

Once enabled to go Administer >> Site building >> Blocks and you should seeNice menu 1 (Nice menu) and Nice menu 2 (Nice menu) in the disabled section.

Move the Nice menu 1 to the left side bar.

Now click on the configure to display the block settings. Scroll down to Menu parent and instead of having scroll down and select and click on Save block.

On your left sidebar you should now have a nice menu displaying the primary links menu.

That’s all that is required to set it up, if you know of any other menu modules leave a comment and let us know.
